The Vernon Hills Athletic Complex (VHAC), owned and maintained by the Village of Vernon Hills, is a full service sports facility that includes permanent structures for restrooms and concessions. The complex hosts many programs for the VHCYAA including baseball, softball, football, cheerleading, lacrosse, and soccer. The VHCYAA assists with maintaining the fields and complex in order to help keep it's reputation as a premier sports facility in northern Illinois. Most of the fields are lighted and have electronic scoreboards. Many of the diamonds have grass infields and raised pitchers mounds.
The concessions building provides a menu of hot and cold drinks, chips, candy, nachos, hotdogs. For some larger events, grilled items may also be available. For those times when the concession stand is closed, vending machines for cold drinks are also available. During the baseball season these machines are located near the restrooms. During football season these machines are located near the press box between the varsity and junior varsity fields.
Permanent restroom facilities are located at the south end of the baseball fields across from the concession building. Portable facilities are located near the football fields.
